Parkway Child Booster Seat by: BritaxParkway Child Booster Seat by: Britax. The new Parkway booster from Britax builds on their company's reputation as the maker of some of the safest seats on the market today. It's one of the only boosters to offer True Side Impact Protection - the EPS foam-padded headrest and side "wings" aren't just great for naps, they're engineered to provide vital protection to your child in the event of a side-impact crash. (Side-impact crashes are the leading cause of death for children ages 6-14, making this an issue of major importance for booster seats.) The Parkway's headrest is easy to adjust with one hand, and allows the seat to grow up with your child - all the way up to 60" tall. The Parkway booster seat to be very easy to install - it works in pretty much any car that has a lap and shoulder belt. The open belt-guides make it easy to strap in, and the base is designed to fit securely, and stay safely in place. The Parkway is the mid-point between the older Britax Starriser Comfy, and the popular top-end Britax Bodyguard. The Starriser has a detachable back (for using the base alone) and an expandable base, but the Parkway features retractable cup/snack holder, more padding, and True Side Impact Protection. The deluxe Bodyguard Booster also features True Side Impact Protection - plus belt lock-offs, a built in storage area, and an expandable base. I think that the Parkway may be my overall favorite of the bunch, due to its combination of side impact protection, increased padding, and cup holders (kids really do appreciate them!).
